You should see general irregularities in the structure inside the crystal; this shows it is real Jade. We use a torch and an x10 Loupe to check when buying Jade and other crystals.

2)    Hold the piece of jade in your hand. It should feel “cold, smooth and soap-like to the touch”. It should take a while to get warm if it is real.

Another essential part of this talisman is the eight Jade discs which are recently commonly known as doughnuts which never sounds right to me.
